We chose to be small
tiny telematic is the VPN of a small team that sets up its own servers and tests them every day.
Why small?
The VPN everyone knows is the VPN everyone uses. Its servers are packed in the evening, its addresses end up on lists, its websites get blocked. One mistake by a big brand hits thousands of people at once.
We do the opposite: we don't chase the crowd, and we measure success by speed, not by user count. The channels are wide and there are few people on them. No crowd — so the speed is high and the connection is calm.
How we work
- We set up and maintain the servers ourselves. No middlemen.
- We test every connection method once a minute. An automatic check makes a real connection to every server over every protocol. If a method breaks, a human knows within minutes.
- We don't stick to one technology. Connections run on different protocols; if one gets blocked, the others keep working. New methods are tried on a test server first and only then opened to you.
- Support is a human. Your ticket is read by the people who set up the servers, not by an autoresponder.
Our mascot
Its name is tiny telematic, too. A small robot with a shield — like us: small, careful and always connected. The signal on its antenna means your connection is on; the locked shield on its chest means your traffic is encrypted.
What we don't promise
We'd rather be honest. We don't say “hundreds of countries”, “unlimited everything” or “no logs”: our servers are in a few countries, short-lived connection logs are kept to stop abuse, and all of it is openly described in the privacy policy. Nor will we claim that any VPN always gets around every block — but when one road closes, opening another quickly is our job.
