Android TV and Apple TV

The hardest part on a TV is entering a long link. Here are the easy ways around it.

Android TV

  1. Install the app Install INCY from Google Play on the TV. If it isn't there, download the APK file and install it on the TV.

  2. Add the subscription The easiest: open the setup page in the TV's browser and press “Add subscription” — it's added by itself. If that fails, enter the link in the app by hand; Happ and vpn4tv have their own ways to send the link from your phone.
  3. Connect Open the app, pick a server and connect. If the TV asks for VPN permission, confirm.

Apple TV

There's no INCY for Apple TV; we recommend Happ. It needs tvOS 17.6 or later.

  1. Install Happ Open the App Store on your Apple TV and install “Happ - Proxy Utility for TV”. It isn't available in every country's App Store.

  2. Send the subscription from your phone On first launch Happ shows a QR code on the screen. Open Happ on your phone (with the subscription already added there), scan the code, pick the subscription and send it. The phone and the Apple TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network. Another way: on the TV press “+” → “Import from URL” and type the link with the remote.
  3. Connect Pick a server and connect; the first time, allow the VPN configuration.
If the subscription disappears

tvOS may wipe app data when storage runs low. If the subscription is gone, send it from your phone again.
